I thought I would share some photos of our walk last weekend around the Isabella Plantation, which is in Richmond Park on the edge of London. I had never been before and it is an amazing garden of windy paths and open spaces. I think you could walk for hours and never go down the same path!
We played hide and seek...
saw gorgeous leaves and flowers...
... and this glade full of beautiful foxgloves looked just like somewhere that fairies would live!
We will definately be going again, we still have lots more paths to discover
: )

Oh how I love foxgloves! I've had no luck in my garden, they always fall. I just don't have enough luck when it comes to supporting them. Looks like a perfect day.
I can't remember when I last went to Richmond park, it was years ago. I remember it being lovely though. It sounds like you had a great day!
So beautiful..It does look like fairies could live there..Can't wait to see more pictures..
Pretty pictures! Love the ferns!
How wonderful to live in a city with such a great park system! It would be nice to be able to hike in a park! Ours are too small.
What a beautiful park!
Thanks so much for sharing...remind me of parks around my city.
Oh that place looks magical! Love it!
What a wonderful walk, I should do that more often. We live within a botanical garden and sadly, I am too lazy to do any walking...
It looks so nice there!
How pretty! My mother would love it there.. she always took my brother and I to Kew Gardens when we were little.
What a beautiful day it must have been for a walk :) I long to take a walk in lush greens and not see skyscrapers in the background....
Who is that hiding behind the tree??
Fun - the hide and seek photo is great!
What a wonderful way to spend a day! I love creeping through hedge tunnels!
That looks like a beautiful park to explore. One that I'd enjoy getting lost in! Even the name 'Isabella Plantation' is pretty :)
