april snow

A surprise yesterday, we woke up to snow! We haven't really had any this winter so after breakfast Holly and I were straight out into the garden to make a snowman. Poor Stuart had to go to work so he missed out on the fun. The snow on the blossom looked so pretty, although by lunchtime most of the snow had gone, and our snowman is still there but now just one block of snow getting smaller and smaller. : )

You gotta love it when you get enough snow to make such a cute snowman. Anything less and it is just not the same...

Nice snowman.

Our snow is finally almost gone after a week of 50+ degree weather with sun hitting it.

There is still a little on the ground, and we may get a little this coming weekend.

Snow is ok if you can build a sweet snowman.

Craziness. Wish I had snow over here. It poured down rain tonight in good old Seattle. I'm used to it.

But what I wouldn't give for the rain to magically transform into fluffy flakes for snow people making. Oh so jealous...

The best thing about an April snowfall is that is doesn't last very long! Melts sometimes within hours!

Looks like you had fun!
