fingers crossed : /
It seems that it is our turn for computer problems, I went to turn it on yesterday, and nothing. Not even a light. We have someone coming on Tuesday to look at it, so we have all our fingers crossed. So this post has been done on a dial up connection, hence no pictures, I just wanted to let you know in case you wondered where I had gone, especially after promising a give-away! It will be coming, hopefully we will know more on Tueday.

Oh don't you hate it! Luckily, there are three laptops in the household so always backed up! .. but when I was at University and my computer crashed, I pretty much ended up living in the library!
That is really annoying. I did not realise how much I used mine until it played up last month.
Hope it is now sorted out.

Is it a mac or pc? If it's a mac, might be the PRAM. Sometimes they don't hold their power. Another thing to try is to unplug everything for a while, then just plug the main power in, then try. Then if it starts, plug in the peripherals.
