something for me

On Friday night I decided to make something for myself, using some new fabric that had arrived that I adore. (Admittidly only a tiny piece, but I still had to cut into it!) So this little card holder came into the world, it has some stiff interfacing to keep it strong, and the little pockets are snippets of felt. I am very pleased with it and my cards fit in a treat, it was so nice to make something for me. : )

You're definitely onto something making a piece for yourself. I always say, I can't afford my work! I need to get over it and do it.

Yes, we often forget to treat ourselves to something we've made. Good for you for doing it, and reminding us that we should remember to treat ourselves, too! Love the combo of the bright orange and the purple!

This morning as I looked for jewelry to match my outfit I thought - I need to make something for me - but couldn't justify it. Thank you for inspiring me!

Great idea--I love how you use the circle motif on different products. I recently made a pin for myself, and I need to be sure I don't chicken out and try to sell it (it's a honey).
