At last new items are starting to make it into the shop, here is the first, a purple feather keyring/bag charm. : )

They're done!

My 'I can't afford these beautiful Anthropologie curtains so I will make my own version using my old curtains' curtains are done! What do you think? I am so happy with them, they now look thick and luxurious and seem to finish off the room. And it's great to have been able to use some of my most favourite fabrics too. : )

For every purchase made in either my etsy or folksy shops between now and 5pm this Thursday 24 June (GMT), you will receive a FREE BROOCH! That's right, one for each item purchased, not just for each order! They look great put together in a group or on their own on a bag or jacket. Each one is made up of three layers of denim and felt, with a metal pin sewn onto the back. No two are the same, and they are approximately 4.5cm wide. : )

For a while there I thought spring was coming, but the past few days here in London have been icy with really cold winds. Brrrr! But I'm sure it can't be far off now, it is March after all, so I have made a second pouch/purse in anticipation, as the first one is already off in a new home. This is becoming one of my favourite colour combinations, a leafy green with turquoise and a splash of dark pink. This week so far has been a bit crazy and I am already looking forward to the weekend! Not much sewing has happened until last night when I started and almost finished a new product, I have been busy with my sketchbook and new ideas and now just need to find the time to make them! : )
